“Freddie and Bel — I’ve never really seen a love affair quite like this one. It’s very ambiguous, but very…it feels incredibly real to me. They’re sort of best friends. They’re sort of soul mates. They’re sort of lovers. Freddie’s sort of declared his love in the past, but sort of…is also noncommittal and… It’s this lovely sort of…unpindownable thing. But undeniable, for Freddie, undeniably strong. She is the sort of centre of his world, really.”
